Frequently Asked Questions

Foundations Speech Therapy is a pediatric clinic, most commonly servicing preschool and elementary-aged children.  

Speech therapy sessions are typically 30-45 minutes in length.  Recommendations for each child can vary based on his/her specific needs and will be disccussed with the family upon completion of the evaluation.  

If for any reason you need to cancel your session, please contact Kim as soon as possible to avoid any fees.  We understand that life happens and unexpected things come up.  We will work with you to get your session rescheduled in a timely manner. 

If a session is completely missed without prior notification, a $25 fee will be assessed. 

No, we do not currently accept insurance as a form of payment.  Foundations Speech Therapy is a private pay clinic.  To learn more about the benefits of private pay go to our "Services" page.

As of July 2026, the following forms of payment are accepted at Foundations Speech Therapy: cash, personal check, and Venmo. 

If necessary, please ask about options for payment plans, discounted rates, and potential reimbursement from your insurance provider. 

Foundations Speech Therapy recognizes that privately paying for speech services can be an investment.  We believe in offering affordable care and have set our rates to reflect that.  For the current rates, please contact Kim directly.
